Windscreen repairs
If you have chosen to take Insurance through Octopus then getting your windscreen repaired couldn't be easier - call our Driverline on 020 3322 2601 (Option 1 and then Option 4) and provide your insurance certificate number - our windscreen repair partner, Autoglass, will do the rest.
If you don’t have insurance included, you will need to contact your insurance provider directly.
What’s included with glass repair?
Autoglass are our windscreen partner for Octopus-insured drivers. And they offer the following services:
- Repairs - they’ll repair chips, scratches, or minor cracks at your home, office, or one of their local sites. We will always repair where possible, and this is at no cost to you.
- Replacements - if a repair is not possible then a replacement will be provided. A replacement carries a small insurance excess of £75. Please be aware that there is a possibility that Autoglass may need to order your new windscreen in, so please provide as much notice as possible.
Tyre repairs and replacements
If you have chosen to take Maintenance through Octopus then getting your tyres repaired or replaced couldn't be easier.
You can either book online via the Book Now button below or call our Driverline on 020 3322 2601 (Option 1 and then Option 3). You’ll need to provide your registration number and tyre details - Kwik Fit will do the rest.
If you don’t have maintenance included, you’ll need to arrange this yourself.
When should I get my tyres repaired or replaced?
Please contact Kwik Fit if your tyres are worn and require replacement or if you have a puncture that needs to be repaired.
Please note, if you’re in a situation where you require assistance, such as obtaining a puncture at the side of the road, please call our Driverline (Option 1 and then Option 2).
Kwik Fit will ask for your tyre size, you can find these on the side of the tyre, or in some passenger doors. Not sure where it is? Head over to how to find your tyre size.
Please note:
- Seasonal tyres are not included in your package - if you require these you are welcome to obtain them at your own cost.
- Some tyres may need to be ordered specially, so please try to plan ahead when arranging replacements.
When and how to book a service or MOT
A message will appear on the dashboard of your EV when a service is required. MOT tests are due three years after the vehicle is registered.
For servicing, it’s best to follow your manufacturer's guidelines (you can usually find this in your vehicle handbook).
If you have our maintenance package included with your vehicle, then getting your service or MOT booked couldn’t be easier. Our partner, Fleet Assist, will find a booking for you at a local dealership, on a day that suits you.

Non-urgent repairs
Noticed an amber warning light or message on your dashboard or something isn’t working quite as it should (but your EV is still driveable)? Our partner, Fleet Assist, can help.

If you don’t have maintenance included, you’ll need to arrange this yourself.
Please note:
If your EV breaks down on the road, or has a more urgent fault with the vehicle (e.g. red warning light), then please call through to breakdown assistance on our Driverline (Option 1 and then Option 2).
