This tariff saves you an extra 1p on the current off-peak rate.
EV charging is now dynamic. Simply plug in whenever you're home, and Octopus Energy will automatically schedule six hours of off-peak charging per day, even if that happens outside the standard overnight slot.
To protect your car from reverting to peak rates after its 6-hour allowance, set an automatic Charge Cap in the app, even if the rest of your home is still in its cheap overnight window.
In order to switch, you'll need to be an Octopus EV driver with a smart meter and a compatible car.
