The EV salary sacrifice charging agreement
- Your agreed mileage and applicable charging credit are outlined as part of Your “Salary Sacrifice Charging Quote & Agreement” (also referred to here as the “Charging Agreement”). Please note that You must have a minimum of 12 months remaining on Your salary sacrifice agreement for the Salary Sacrifice vehicle referenced within Your Charging Agreement.
- The calculation we use for estimated range assumes four miles of range per kWh used. This efficiency can vary and depends on the vehicle, weather conditions and driving style.
- By entering into the Charging Agreement, You commit to a 12-month contract. Anything that causes the Charging Agreement to end prematurely could be subject to early termination fees.
- If the total Electroverse credit applied per the Charging Agreement is used before the end of the Contract Term You must move to a consumer Electroverse service; any charging undertaken using the Electroverse service must be paid directly by you and will not attract the income tax and NIC relief available to charging undertaken via the Charging Agreement.
- Your Charging Agreement, and the applicable monthly deduction from Your gross pay, will continue until the end of the agreed Contract Term even if all of the Electroverse credit is used earlier.
- The Electoverse credit made available via Your Charging Agreement may only be used to charge your Salary Sacrifice Vehicle publicly using Octopus Electroverse; home charging and energy usage is not covered by this service.
- It is Your responsibility to ensure that the availability of charge points via Octopus Electroverse is suitable for Your public charging requirements. You can see coverage and confirm this is suitable for Your needs here.
- Octopus Electric Vehicles Limited makes no assumptions or assurances as to the condition, quality or continuity of service of these charging points. Any questions about Electroverse services should be directed to Octopus Electroverseusing the in-app support chat on the Electroverse mobile app or via email at hello@electroverse.com.
- Please note, no refunds, nor early termination of Your Charging Agreement, will be permissible due to insufficient coverage or availability of an Electroverse charge point. Octopus Electric Vehicles will not compensate You for issues related to Octopus Electroverse’s availability and coverage of charging points or provide a refund for any unused charging credits at the end of the term.
- This offer is non-refundable and there is no cash equivalent.
- We reserve the right to withdraw the Scheme should taxation or legislative changes mean the Scheme no longer offers significant income tax or NIC savings to participants. In this case, we will continue to honour existing agreements (unless the law prohibits this).
- Your Charging Agreement is always subject to your employer complying with all relevant legal obligations including but not limited to the National Minimum Wage; the Charging Agreement can be terminated, or amended, without notice by Your Employer to ensure compliance with any such obligations.
