OEV Wrapped 2023 - Competition terms and conditions

Social media competition for our LinkedIn followers to win a one-night stay at a luxury hotel with strong sustainable credentials. The winner will be gifted a stay at the hotel closest to their home address from the pre-selected options below. Additionally, we will cover travel expenses via public transport or expenses related to their EV travel (charging and parking).

To be in with a chance to win you must:

  • Tell us the EV you’d like to see wrapped up under the Christmas tree in the comments section of this Octopus Electric Vehicles post and tag your dream road trip partner. We'll then pick one winner at random from all valid entries.

Terms and Conditions

  • Entrants must be aged 18+ and a UK resident to enter.
  • Entries are limited to 1 per person (if you comment more than once your first valid entry will count but any subsequent ones will not).
  • The competition closes at midnight on 15th December 2023.
  • One winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries submitted.
  • We’ll announce the winner on the 18th of December 2023 by tagging the winner's LinkedIn handle in a ‘winners’ social post and will also reach out to them directly via LinkedIn DM’s to get personal details to set up their stay.
  • The winner will be gifted a one-night stay at the hotel closest to their home address from the pre-selected options below.
  • If driving an EV, we’ll pay for hotel parking and reimburse charging costs from the winner's home address to the accommodation.
  • If the winner doesn’t have an EV, the prize includes return standard economy travel via public transport only from the winner's home address to the accommodation.
  • The prize is non-transferable and there’s no cash equivalent.
  • The expenditure limit for accommodation and transportation is restricted to a maximum total of £400. If travel and accommodation are less than this amount, no additional payment will be made.
  • The prize can be used any time up until June 30th 2024 (but is subject to accommodation availability on your chosen date).
