These Terms and Conditions apply to the promotional event run by Octopus Electric Vehicles (“Octopus EV”), taking place from 5 December 2025 to 1 March 2026. By taking part in this promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

This offer is available exclusively to existing Octopus Energy customers who entered the November 2025 Octopus Energy competition to win a free car. As part of entering that competition, these customers agreed to receive marketing communications from Octopus Electric Vehicles.

Octopus Electric Vehicles reserves the right to amend or withdraw this offer in order to comply with legal or regulatory obligations or in response to unexpected circumstances.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Subject to the eligibility criteria and terms outlined below, you will qualify for this offer if you:

1. Place an order for a Jaecoo E5 or an OMODA E5 through an Octopus Electric Vehicles Personal Contract Hire agreement between 5 December 2025 and 1 March 2026.
2. Were signed up to the Octopus Electric Vehicles marketing communications list as part of the Octopus Energy “Win a Free Car” competition in November 2025.
3. Are an active Octopus Energy customer with an open account.

1. Claimants must be 18 (eighteen) years of age or older and residents of Great Britain.
2. To qualify, your Personal Contract Hire agreement must be signed and your order confirmed by Octopus Electric Vehicles before the promotion end date.
3.  This offer is limited to one per person, after meeting the eligibility criteria above.
4. Eligible customers will receive 12,000 miles of free charging, applied as home charging credit to their Octopus Energy account, valued at £195.
5. There is no public charging equivalent to this offer.This means the credit can only be used for home charging on an eligible Octopus Energy tariff.

1. To redeem this home charging credit offer, you must be an active Octopus Energy customer and be subscribed to Octopus Electric Vehicles marketing communications via the Octopus Energy competition. If these conditions are not met, Octopus Electric Vehicles reserves the right to withdraw the offer.
2. If the entrant is not the energy account holder (e.g. in rented accommodation), they must have explicit permission from the energy account holder or homeowner to switch energy providers to Octopus Energy in order for the credit to be applied.
3. The credit amount for the 12,000 free miles home charging credit offer is calculated as follows: 
   1. This credit amount is calculated based on charging your EV during the off-peak window on the Intelligent Octopus Go - EV Saver tariff.
   2. It assumes a top efficiency of four miles of range per kWh used (this will vary depending on what EV you have).
   3. 12,000 miles therefore equates to 3,000 kWh, charged at 6p per kWh during the off-peak window, representing £195 worth of electricity credit.
   4. Please note that if you charge under different conditions your credit amount will not equate to a total of 12,000 driving miles.
4. Using the calculations above, the 12,000 miles of home charging credit you will receive will be calculated and credited directly to your Octopus Energy account within 30 days following the official delivery date of your leased vehicle, or the date you switched to Octopus Energy, whichever is later.
5. The provision of home energy is provided by Octopus Energy Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 09263424), with its registered office at United Kingdom House, 164-182 Oxford St, London W1D 1NN (“Octopus Energy”). All queries and support relating to home energy and your energy provider switching process (if applicable) will be handled by Octopus Energy Limited. 

1. The offer is non-transferable, and no cash alternative is available.
2. All offers are subject to vehicle availability and customer eligibility.
3. Octopus Electric Vehicles reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw this promotion at any time without prior notice.
4. The promotional offer is only valid upon successful delivery of the vehicle.
5. If a vehicle order is cancelled before delivery, the offer becomes void.
6. If the agreement is terminated or cancelled after delivery, the offer will also become void, and any applicable cancellation fees and terms outlined in your signed lease agreement will apply.
