Win an EV Prize Draw – Terms & Conditions

The promoter of this offer is Octopus Electric Vehicles Limited, company number 10754317 registered address UK House, 5th Floor, 164-182 Oxford St, London W1D 1NN. Octopus Electric Vehicles Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, firm reference number 809736.

These Terms and Conditions apply to the promotional event hosted by Octopus Electric Vehicles, running from 18/02/2026 00:01 GMT to 04/03/2026 23:59 GMT. You agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Eligibility Criteria:

You must meet the following criteria to be eligible to enter the Prize Draw and win the Prize Car:

  1. You are a resident of the United Kingdom aged 18 (eighteen) or over.
  2. You are an employee of an organisation signed up to a live Octopus Electric Vehicles’ Salary Sacrifice scheme.
  3. You must have, and be able to provide a copy upon request, either a valid provisional UK licence or a full valid UK driving licence. Octopus Electric Vehicles may waive this requirement where the winner can show (to Octopus Electric Vehicles’ reasonable satisfaction) that the winner is unable to drive due to a disability or medical condition but wishes to own a car for a carer to use for the winner's benefit.
  4. Employees of the Octopus Energy Group Limited, their immediate families, agents, or anyone professionally connected with this promotion are not eligible to enter.

Meeting the above eligibility criteria and submitting a valid entry (outlined in section 3 (“How to Enter”) will allow the entrant to be eligible for a chance to win “The Prize Car” (the details of which included in section 2 “The Prize Car” below). 

Please note that, whilst you do not need car insurance to enter the Prize Draw, the Prize Car will not be released to the winner unless and until the winner has provided evidence of valid car insurance that meets UK legal requirements. 

2. The Prize Car:

  1. The Prize: There will be one prize draw with one prize. The “Prize Car” will be one 2026 MG4 Urban Comfort Standard Range including a 43kWh battery
  2. The total retail value of the “Prize Car” is approximately £23,495.00.
  3. Exclusions: The cost of road tax, motor insurance (which the winner must arrange before delivery or collection and is a condition of receipt of the Prize Car), maintenance, home charge point and running costs from the date of delivery or collection are the sole responsibility of the winner.
  4. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative is available. 
  5. The Octopus Electric Vehicles reserves the right to substitute the Prize Car with an alternative vehicle or specification of equal or greater value if the “Prize Car” as stipulated in clause 2.1 is not available.

3. How to enter:

  1. To qualify as an Entrant you must meet the criteria set out in clause 1.
  2. Entrants must enter during the Prize Draw Period, which runs from 18/02/2026 00:01 GMT to 04/03/2026 23:59 GMT (the Prize Draw Period). Entries received after the closing date will not be counted.
  3. Entrants can only enter the prize draw themselves once via completing this Typeform and entering a referral code (your ‘Entry’ to the Prize Draw). Any additional entries made by an Entrant to this Typeform will be considered void. Referrers can gain additional entries into the prize draw through the use of their referral code as stipulated in clause 4.6.
  4. Octopus Electric Vehicles reserves the right to disqualify multiple or bulk entries from individuals or third parties, incomplete entries, and entries submitted via automated means such as computer generated macros, scripts, or any other form of automated process.

4. Referrals:

  1. If you are an employee of an organisation signed up to a live Octopus Electric Vehicles’ Salary Sacrifice scheme and have consented to receive marketing communications from Octopus Electric vehicles, then you will be considered a Referrer, and your referral code will be sent to you in the initial email regarding the Prize Draw.
  2. If you are not a Referrer you can enter the Prize Draw by submitting your details into the Typeform as an Entrant as set out in clause 3, together with a Referrer’s referral code. 
  3. Please note that you are not required to have a salary sacrifice leased vehicle in order to be or become a Referrer or to enter the Prize Draw.
  4. You will also become a Referrer by entering into the Prize Draw during the Prize Draw Period. If that is the case for you, you will receive your referral code within 24 hours of entering the Prize Draw via an email to the account you registered as part of Entry.
  5. A Referrer is only permitted to enter the prize draw themselves as an Entrant via this Typeform once, they are permitted to use their own referral code or another valid referral code. 
  6. Each time an Entrant submits a valid entry using a Referrer’s referral code, the Referrer will gain an additional entry into the prize draw. There is no limit to the number of times a referral code can be used.

4. Prize Draw & winner confirmation:

  1. The potential winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries received at the end of the Prize Draw Period. The potential winner will be notified they have won via the email address provided at Entry on 05/03/2026 by 13:00.
  2. Winner Verification: The potential winner must respond to the email and complete any necessary eligibility verification within 7 days of initial contact (Winner Verification Criteria). Failure to comply will result in disqualification and the prize being awarded to another entrant selected in the same manner. The process set out above shall repeat until such time as a winner has met the Winner Verification Criteria.

5. Prize acceptance and handover conditions:

  1. The winner is responsible for procuring, paying and otherwise dealing with the Exclusions to the Prize Draw as set out in clause 2.3.
  2. Following completion of the Winner Verification as set out above, we will provide you with all the information you reasonably need to register yourself as the registered keeper of the Prize Car, to obtain valid driving insurance compliant with all legal requirements in the United Kingdom, and complete any other paperwork required (the Necessary Steps). 
  3. Octopus Electric Vehicles will arrange delivery or collection of the Prize Car with the winner within 28 days of receipt of evidence that all Necessary Steps have been completed.
  4. Delivery: Delivery is limited to the UK mainland. If the Prize Car winner is residing outside the UK mainland, they must either collect the Prize Car from a mutually agreeable mainland location or arrange and fund all onward transportation. The winner must be present at the agreed mainland delivery point to accept the vehicle and sign any necessary paperwork.

6. General:

  1. No purchase is necessary to enter into the Prize Draw.
  2. If the winner has an existing EV Salary Sacrifice or Personal Contract Hire agreement with its employer or Octopus Electric Vehicles directly, that contract remains in effect and shall not be terminated as a result of this Prize Draw.
  3. Octopus Electric Vehicles reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the Prize Draw where necessary to comply with legal or regulatory obligations .
  4. Octopus Electric Vehicles will not be liable for any loss (including indirect, special or consequential loss) or damage arising in connection with accepting or using the Prize Car, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (such as death or personal injury caused by its negligence).
  5. These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

7. Data protection, use and publicity:

  1. By entering, participants consent to their personal data being processed for the administration of this Prize Draw.
  2. As part of the entry process, participants will be added to Octopus Electric Vehicles’ marketing mailing list. Participation in the Prize Draw does not require participants to remain subscribed and unsubscribing does not affect the validity of their Prize Draw entry.
  3. Participants may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time including immediately after entering via this unsubscribe link. Please allow up to 7 (seven) working days for the request to be completed.
  4. Participants that wish to unsubscribe from marketing communications and do not wish to wait 7 (seven) working days for the request to be completed can unsubscribe immediately via the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing communications received.
  5. Personal data collected will be handled in accordance with UK data protection law and Octopus Electric Vehicle’s Privacy Policy.
  6. Octopus Electric Vehicles is required by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) to demonstrate that a valid award took place and must provide information and named winning entry (name and county) to the ASA if requested. The winner's surname and county of residence will be made available upon written request to Octopus Electric Vehicles one month after the draw date, for a period of 8 weeks.
  7. By entering into this Prize Draw you agree to our use of your first name and city or town in our marketing promotions. 

8. Accessibility and reasonable adjustments:

  1. In accordance with the Equality Act 2010, Octopus Electric Vehicles is committed to ensuring that no participant is placed at a substantial disadvantage due to a disability. Where these Terms and Conditions specify that potential winners must confirm their entry via email, Octopus Electric Vehicles will provide reasonable alternative verification methods for participants who are unable to use the email due to disability, including but not limited to phone call, text message, video relay service, or any other accessible communication channel deemed suitable. Eligible participants requiring an adjustment may contact Octopus Electric Vehicles to request an alternative verification method, and Octopus Electric Vehicles will take reasonable steps to ensure that all participants are given an equal opportunity to confirm their entry and claim the prize.
