TERMS AND CONDITIONS - Salary Sacrifice Scheme drive to win - September and October 2026 - Promotion “Scheme Drive to win prize draw”

 

The promoter of this offer is Octopus Electric Vehicles Limited, company number 10754317 registered address UK House, 5th Floor, 164-182 Oxford St, London W1D 1NN. Octopus Electric Vehicles Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, firm reference number 809736.

These Terms and Conditions apply to the promotional event hosted by Octopus Electric Vehicles (Octopus EV), running from the 1st September 2026 to the 31st October 2026. You and your organisation agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Eligibility criteria

Your organisation will be eligible for entry into this free prize draw if your organisation meets all of the following criteria:

a) Your organisation has a live Salary Sacrifice scheme operated by Octopus Electric Vehicles Limited

and;

b) Your organisation books and attends a Salary Sacrifice Scheme webinar with at least one attendee from your organisation, with your Octopus EV account manager between 1st September to 31st October 2026.

Booking and hosting an eligible Salary Sacrifice Scheme webinar entitles your organisation to entry to this free prize draw. See “How to enter the prize draw” below for more information. 

Please note, entries are limited to one per organisation, completing both a bespoke and a group webinar will not generate additional entries. 

How to enter the prize draw

  • To enter the prize draw, your organisation must book a webinar with Octopus EV and your representing account manager via the Calendly webinar link. 
  • This link will be emailed to your organisation’s Scheme Lead and Primary HR approval contact on 1st September 2026. This email will contain a link to book your organisation's webinar event directly via Calendly. 
    • If your organisation’s Scheme Lead or Primary HR do not receive this email, please contact your Octopus EV account manager to organise your webinar. 
  • Entry to this prize draw will be confirmed once the webinar has been completed.
  • Webinars must be completed on or before 31st October 2026 to be eligible for the prize draw.

The prize draw

Draw details

  • The draw will take place by 16th November 2026.
  • The prize draw will be conducted by an Octopus EV employee who is not involved in the administration of this promotion. All eligible entries will be assigned a unique number and three (3) winners will be selected using a random number generator. The promoter's decision is final.
  • By entering, you (as a representative of your organisation) consent to being contacted using the contact details we have on record for you, if your organisation is selected as a winner.
  • Winners will be notified within 30 days of the prize draw.

Prize details

1st Place prize: One (1) winning organisation can choose one of the following prize options:

1st Place prize option 1: Team hospitality event

One (1) winning organisation will receive a team hospitality event, up to a maximum value of five hundred pounds (£500).

  • This hospitality event must be booked on your organisation's behalf by Octopus EV.
    • Any event booking that is not made by a member of the Octopus EV team will not be eligible and no refund or reimbursement will be provided. 
  • The winning organisation can choose for their event to take place at one of the following venues:

  • The winning organisation will be able to choose a time and date that is suitable for them. Availability will be at the discretion of the chosen venue. Octopus EV makes no assurances to the availability or service level of these venues, and has no connection or partnership with these venues.
  • In the event that the chosen venue is unavailable, the winning organisation may select an alternative from the remaining options.
  • Where none of the three venue options has a location within 50 miles of the winning organisation's primary place of work (or registered UK office location if employees are contracted remotely), the winning organisation may request an alternative hospitality venue of equivalent value. Octopus EV must be made aware of this in writing with prior notice, and will then work with the winning organisation to organise a suitable alternative. 
  • The hospitality event (and its attendees) will be subject to the terms and conditions and any codes of conduct outlined at the applicable venue.
  • Travel to and from the venue must be arranged and funded at the attendees' own discretion and will not be organised on their behalf.
  • No additional costs beyond the pre-agreed hospitality event booking will be covered by Octopus EV. 
  • Neither Octopus EV nor its representatives will be required to attend.
  • The event must be attended by employees of the winning organisation. Octopus EV will not pay for non-employees to attend.

1st Place prize option 2: £500 Charitable donation

As an alternative to the Team hospitality event, the winning organisation can opt for a charitable donation (chosen from a list of pre-selected charities) equalling a total value of five hundred pounds (£500).

  • The chosen charity must be selected from the below three options:
    • Cancer Research UK
      • Registered Charity Numbers: 1089464, SC041666, 1103 & 247. Company No. 4325234
    • Mind
      • Registered Charity Number: 219830 & Company No. 424348.
    • Dogs Trust
      • Registered Charity Numbers: 1167663 & SC053144 & Company No. 09365971.

2nd and 3rd place: Two (2) winning organisations can choose from one of the following prize options:

2nd and 3rd place option 1: Team hospitality event (2 winners)

Two (2) winning organisations will receive a hosted team hospitality event, up to a maximum value of two hundred and fifty pounds (£250).

  • This hospitality event must be booked on your organisation's behalf by Octopus EV.
    • Any event booking that is not made by a member of the Octopus EV team will not be eligible and no refund or reimbursement will be provided. 
  • The winning organisations can choose for their event to take place at one of the following venues:

As an alternative to the Team hospitality event, the winning organisation can opt for a charitable donation (chosen from a list of pre-selected charities) for a total value of two hundred and fifty pounds (£250).

  • The chosen charity must be selected from the below three options:

Winner notification and prize redemption

  • Winning organisations will be notified using the contact information we have on record. We will reach out to the scheme lead or primary contact we have for your organisation directly. Notification will be made within 30 days of the prize draw.
  • If a winning organisation fails to respond within 14 days of notification, Octopus EV reserves the right to redraw the offer and select an alternative winning organisation.

Prize redemption for team hospitality events

  • The team hospitality prize must be redeemed within 6 months of the date of notification.
  • The booking will be subject to the maximum prize value as outlined in the applicable section above. 
  • To book the team hospitality event, the eligible organisation should contact their Salary Sacrifice scheme account manager. When contacting Octopus EV, please provide the following information:
    • The preferred team hospitality event location (chosen from the venue lists outlined in the Team Hospitality event prize detail sections above. 
    • At least 2 times and dates of availability (please list these in order of preference). 
    • The name or level of the event package that is preferred. 
  • Once the above event details have been received, Octopus EV will contact the preferred venue to make the booking. 
  • Availability is at the discretion of the chosen venue. If none of the date and time preferences are available, Octopus EV will contact the winning organisation to discuss alternative time and dates for the hospitality event. 
    • In the event that no suitable date or time can be agreed across any of the three venue options within the redemption period, Octopus EV will work with the winning organisation to identify a suitable alternative hospitality experience of equivalent value.

Prize redemption for Charitable donations

  • For the charitable donation prize, the elected charity (chosen from the selected charity lists outlined in the Charitable donation prize details section above) must be chosen and confirmed in writing to Octopus EV within 14 days of the date of notification. Confirmation can be made to your organisation's Account Manager via email.
  • The charitable donation will be made directly to the chosen charity via their official donations platform. 
  • If the winning organisation(s) do not confirm a preferred charity within 14 days of the date of notification, a charity (chosen from the selected charity list outlined in the Charitable donation prize details section above) will be selected at random and the donation made on their behalf. 

Other conditions

  • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
  • If your organisation withdraws, ceases to offer, or notifies Octopus EV that it no longer wishes to operate a Salary Sacrifice Scheme hosted by Octopus EV before the prize draw is completed, the organisation's entry will be revoked.
  • Octopus EV accepts no responsibility for any third-party delays or failures in the fulfilment of this prize draw. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Data Protection and Publicity

  • By entering the Scheme Drive to win competition, you consent to the reasonable use of your organisation's name for promotional purposes, including on the Octopus Electric Vehicles website, in email communications, and in marketing materials. This is limited to announcing your organisation as a winner and does not constitute an endorsement.
  • Any personal data collected will be handled in accordance with UK data protection law and Octopus Electric Vehicles’ privacy policy.
  • Any data collected by a third party in relation to the prize draw will be handled in accordance with their respective privacy policy. 
  • Octopus Electric Vehicles reserves the right to amend or withdraw this offer in order to comply with legal or regulatory obligation.
  •  These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
