Salary sacrifice charging offers

The promoter of this offer is Octopus Electric Vehicles Limited, company number 10754317 registered address UK House, 5th Floor, 164-182 Oxford St, London W1D 1NN. Octopus Electric Vehicles Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, firm reference number 809736.

Charging offers

As part of taking your first EV with Octopus Electric Vehicles through salary sacrifice, we have three charging offers to choose from (see below). During your salary sacrifice agreement order, you will be asked to choose a promotional offer. After all of your documents are signed relating to your Salary Sacrifice agreement, you’ll be asked to confirm and start the relevant application based on your choice. Please read all eligibility criteria as you will need to meet the eligibility requirement of your chosen promotion, in addition to the eligibility criteria for the EV salary sacrifice agreement stated in the Driver Agreement document. These Terms and Conditions apply to the promotional event hosted by Octopus Electric Vehicles, running from 01/07/2026. You agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Home charger: £400 contribution toward Octopus Charge

a) Eligibility

  1. The home charger offer only applies to the Octopus Charge home EV charger, the price includes a standard installation.
    • More information on what a standard installation includes can be found here.

b) Charger installation

  1. If you fall outside of a standard installation, you will be quoted directly for any additional costs by Octopus Energy Services, our sister company who manages the charger installation.
    • Any additional work that falls outside the defined standard installation is your responsibility to pay directly with Octopus Energy Services. 
  2. If your charger is installed before your EV arrives, and you then cancel your EV order, you will be liable for the full cost of the charger and installation. The fee for which will be levied as a cancellation fee.
    • In this instance, you will be liable for a cancellation fee of £400, which represents the value of the discounted offer. This fee will be charged to your employer and will be collected from your net pay.
  3. We cannot guarantee that the charger installation will occur before delivery of your vehicle, and installation lead times can be up to 16 weeks.


2. Public charging credit: £400 Electroverse credit

If you have chosen to receive your promotional salary sacrifice offer as public charging credit, this will be via the Octopus Electroverse charging network.

a) Eligibility

  1. You will need to sign up for a free Electroverse account to receive the charging credit.
    You don't need to be an Octopus Energy customer to use Electroverse. 
  2. Applicable codes will be sent to the email associated with your salary sacrifice agreement, which you will need to redeem in your Electroverse account.

b) Redeeming the charging credit

  1. The £400 credit will be distributed in equal quarterly installments (every 3 months) over the term of your salary sacrifice agreement, with a total sum of £400 in Electroverse credit.
    • The installment amount you will receive will vary depending on the total contract length you selected when choosing your EV salary sacrifice arrangement. 
  2. You will receive a code by email, which you will need to redeem to use the charging credit.
  3. You will need to redeem the code in your Electroverse account. Information about how to redeem the Electroverse codes can be found here.
    • Electroverse codes generated for this offer must be redeemed via the Electroverse app within 9 months of the date of issue. We recommend redeeming your code as soon as it is received.
    • Once a code has been redeemed and has been applied as charging credit in your Electroverse account, the credit will expire after 1 year.
  4. Redeemed Electroverse credit has an expiration timeline of 4 years from the date you redeem the credit code into your account.
  5. The first installment will be issued once your vehicle has been delivered, with subsequent installments applied every three months thereafter, provided the salary sacrifice agreement remains active. 
    • Please allow 5 working days from the confirmation of your delivery date, and scheduled quarterly anniversaries, for your Electroverse credit code to arrive via email.
  6. Should your EV salary sacrifice agreement be terminated, cancelled, or otherwise end early, all future quarterly credits will not be paid. No pro-rata cash payments or lump-sum credits will be provided for any remaining balance.
  7. The credit we give you can only be used in the UK, unless you already have a linked Octopus Energy account. This is because our credit is in pounds and can't be changed to another currency. 
  8. Credit should only be used for charging the salary sacrifice vehicle that you have chosen this promotion with.

3. Home EV charging credit: £400 credit for charging your Salary Sacrifice EV on an Octopus intelligent EV tariff

a) Eligibility

  1. You must have a smart home charger installed at your address.
    • This must be the same address registered to an Octopus Energy account in your name, on your salary sacrifice agreement and EV insurance policy.
  2. You will need to be on one of the following Octopus intelligent EV saver tariffs before we can apply the charging credit to your Octopus Energy account:
  3. You must have an EV on a salary sacrifice agreement through Octopus Electric Vehicles and your Employer.
  4. Customers residing in Northern Ireland are not eligible for the home EV charging credit offer, this is because Octopus Energy is not currently available in Northern Ireland.

b) Receiving the charging credit

  1. The home EV charging credit will be distributed in equal quarterly installments (every 3 months), totalling £400 over the full term of your agreed salary sacrifice agreement. 
  2. You will be eligible for the home EV charging credit on your Octopus Energy account once your electric vehicle has been delivered and you are on one of the above eligible Octopus intelligent EV tariffs.
  3. The first installment will be reimbursed 3 months after your vehicle delivery date, with subsequent reimbursements applied every 3 months thereafter, provided the salary sacrifice agreement is not terminated early.
    • If your EV salary sacrifice agreement is terminated early for any reason, we will pro-rata the amount of credit you are eligible for based on the effective date of your agreement termination. This will be reimbursed to your Octopus Energy account within 1 month of your new contract end date.
    • Please allow 5 working days from your scheduled quarterly anniversaries for your charging credit to appear in your Octopus Energy account.
  4. Credit should only be used for charging the salary sacrifice vehicle named in your agreement.

4. General terms

  1. The provision of home energy is provided by Octopus Energy Limited, who are a separate company from Octopus Electric Vehicles Limited. Octopus Energy is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 09263424), with its registered office at United Kingdom House, 164-182 Oxford St, London W1D 1NN (“Octopus Energy”). All queries and support relating to home energy and your energy provider switching process (if applicable) will be handled by Octopus Energy Limited. Octopus Energy's Terms and Conditions will apply as part of the provision of home energy and related services.
  2. The provision of this public charging service is provided by Octopus Electroverse Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number: 15274675), with its registered office at 5th Floor, UK House, 164-182 Oxford Street, London, W1D 1NN. All queries and support relating to public charging using the Electroverse service and the sign up process will be handled by Octopus Electroverse Limited.
  3. Octopus Electric Vehicles are not responsible for the availability and provision of Electroverse. Any queries about Electroverse should be directed to them directly at hello@electroverse.com.
  4. All offers are subject to availability and eligibility.
  5. Octopus Electric Vehicles reserves the right to amend or withdraw this offer in order to comply with legal or regulatory obligations or in response to unexpected circumstances.
  6. These offers are non transferable and no cash equivalent will be offered.
  7. If you change your mind after choosing a charging offer, or find you are unable to meet the eligibility criteria, you may choose a different offer. Please let your Customer Operations Specialist know so this can be updated on our system.
  8. Any predictions to the number of miles attainable under these offers (both in written claims or from any member of our team) are estimates. The actual amount will vary depending on a number of factors including your EV, the weather conditions and driving style.
    • Where possible, we will provide the calculations and data used to make these claims, however these should always be used as guidance and not absolute fact. 
  9. If you are switching to an Octopus Energy tariff, your existing energy tariff (both those provided by Octopus Energy or another energy supplier) may have Early Exit Fees. It is your responsibility to confirm and settle these with your energy supplier if required, before moving to any Octopus Energy tariff.
