As part of taking an electric vehicle (EV) with Octopus Electric Vehicles, through a Personal Contract Hire (PCH) lease, we offer you:
A specialist Octopus Energy tariff: we’ve partnered with Octopus Energy to offer our EV drivers access to a specialist tariff, the Intelligent Octopus Go - EV Saver tariff. This is a version of the Intelligent Octopus Go tariff, with the added benefit of a 1p saving on the off-peak energy rate.
And,
A 10% discount off public charging through the Electroverse network: we’ve partnered with Electroverse to offer our EV drivers 10% off all public charging through Electroverse.

Octopus Energy tariff
Access to the Octopus Energy Intelligent Octopus Go - EV Saver tariff, exclusive for Octopus EV drivers
This is a version of the Octopus Energy Intelligent Octopus Go tariff, with a 1p saving on the off-peak rate, exclusive to Octopus EV drivers. To be eligible for this tariff you need to be an Octopus Energy customer on the Intelligent Octopus Go tariff. From your Octopus EV ‘My Account’ you can request to switch to the new EV saver tariff. Once requested, it can take up to 7 days for Octopus Energy to switch you over. If you don’t have a ‘My Account’, you will find a link to the switching form in your emails.
10% Electroverse discount
To access this discount you must have ordered a car after the 23rd of October 2024, when this offer launched. The 10% discount is available across all public charging sessions made through the Electroverse platform. You must sign up with Electroverse using the email address used to order your EV for the discount to apply. You can sign up directly from your Octopus EV ‘My Account’ and request the discount is applied. Once requested, it can take up to 7 days for the Electroverse team to apply the discount to your Electroverse account. If you don’t have a ‘My Account’, you will find a link to sign up in your welcome emails from us.

Octopus Energy tariff
Please note that switching to one of these tariffs and/or having a charger installed may take some time, and will depend on whether you are already an Octopus Energy customer, and whether you already have a smart meter and compatible EV charger installed. During the switchover you will not be eligible to receive the EV Saver discount and the discount will not be backdated.
If for any reason you are not able to have a smart meter installed and therefore are not able to switch to one of the eligible Octopus Energy tariffs, this would not constitute a reason to cancel your vehicle free of charge, or return the car without penalty.
Name and address on the lease and energy account must be the same, or you must be able to prove that you cohabit with the person named on the energy account.
Please note that the Intelligent Octopus Go - EV Saver tariff is exclusive to Octopus Electric Vehicle lease customers, and this tariff and offer cannot be redeemed by anyone else or across multiple households. Customers should not share their switching link with anyone else, and if found to be doing so, may be removed from this tariff at our discretion.
Nothing in these terms prevents you from switching energy provider or tariff at any time during your EV lease term.
Energy is provided by Octopus Energy and is managed by them. Octopus Electric Vehicles are not responsible for delays or issues related to Octopus Energy’s provision of services.
10% Electroverse discount
The 10% discount applies only to charging fees. Any additional services or fees that may be charged through Electroverse at their discretion are not eligible for the discount.
To receive the discount, you must use the Electroverse app or RFID card linked to your registered account at the time of charging.
The offer applies only to personal use and not to Electroverse business or fleet accounts.
To claim this offer the email used to order your EV and on the Electroverse account must be the same. Customers should not share their sign up link with anyone else, and if found to be doing so, may be removed from this offer.
The offer is subject to fair use to charge the EV that you have leased through Octopus Electric Vehicles. If users are found to be using this excessively the discount may be revoked.
Octopus Electric Vehicles are not responsible for issues related to Electroverse’s provision of services and make no guarantees about availability of Electroverse charge points.
