If you’re on the lookout for a practical family EV then look no further than the Peugeot e-Rifter. With a decent range of 120 miles and a regenerative breaking to maximise efficiency, the e-Rifter will be able to do all but the longest journeys on one charge. The long wheel base option has seven seats and plenty of room to fit plenty of luggage in the boot.

Interior

Both drivers and passengers will find comfort and convenience in the Peugeot e-Rifter. There’s an easy to use touchscreen display with voice recognition, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto installed as standard of course. The driver seat sits a bit higher than most, giving a fantastic all round view of the road. The passengers will also be happy with a fair amount of leg-room in both the five and seven seater versions

We take real world range from EV database, which combines the predicted range of an EV in cold weather with the predicted range of an EV driving in warm weather.

For cold weather, this assumes it’s -10 degrees celsius with heating on. For warmer weather, it’s based on 23 degrees celsius and there’s no A/C on.

Predicting exact range is tricky, and range will depend on speed, style of driving, weather conditions and route conditions.
